These are the shrines at which you can evolve Tuwai: Take your Tuwai to one of the elemental shrines out in the world, and it'll evolve into one of six elemental variants. In addition to the choice between Smazee, Crystle and Houchic, new tamers are also given a Tuwai by Professor Konstantinos. Tuwai is an extremely versatile Temtem with decent Speed, Attack, and Special Attack. However, it easily makes up for this with its surprisingly powerful starting Trait. Like Smazee, Houchic is a slightly weaker choice from a competitive standpoint. When it comes to PvP, Houchic's SVs are nothing special. Use the Hypnosis Technique (learned by Houchic at level 3) on your opponents and you'll be laughing. This is a very useful Trait that can put your foes in a serious bind if they're not careful. This Trait not only increases damage against sleeping opponents by 20% but ensures that its attacks don't wake their targets. Houchic begins with the Soft Touch trait. Houchic eventually evolves into Nagaise, a Water and Mental type Temtem. As a Mental type, Houchic is resistant to Melee and Neutral attacks, but vulnerable to Electric, Digital and Crystal Techniques. As you might expect from a more cerebral Temtem, however, Houchic's HP leaves much to be desired. If you want to I'd also suggest checking the Temtem evolutions guide as plenty of other Temtem can be paired with Hocus or Pocus to round off a balanced team.Houchic is a Mental type Temtem and boasts very impressive Speed and Special Attack, as well as considerable Special Defense. Whatever your situation is though, it's worth hunting down Hocus to complete the Tempedia. If you did pick Houchic though, that is a powerful Temtem that does very similar things to Hocus, so at that point, Hocus and Pocus are only worth putting into your Tempedia. It can also evolve into Pocus, which is a very powerful Temtem to have in your party if you didn't pick the mental type starter. Because its Soft Touch trait makes it so that hitting sleeping Temtem doesn't wake them up, it can be a great strategy to use against bothersome enemies. Weak to: Electric, Digital, and Crystal (2x resistance).Strong against: Neutral and Melee (1/2 resistance).Hocus strengths/weaknessesĪs a pure mental type, Hocus is strong and weak against only a few types: It is unknown if Hocus will learn any moves outside of levelling up in the future, but Hocus cannot currently learn any of the TCs in the game at this time.
